You need to come from money to have a space in Brooklyn where you can spend your days creating. Having the time and space to create is almost impossible if you are working a 9 to 5 to pay the bills. You need to eat sleep and shit your craft when you are an artist

I wish I had the time to learn this skill. I have a favorite band of mine that I have tons of life records with long instrumentals and the drums and bass players are crazy. And nobody has this drum sound out. The clearance would be impossible. But sometimes throwing shit out there forces them to come to the table to want to get paid.
